A downloadable game for Windows

My first demo of a prototype. Only one level and one boss and a gameplay inspired a lot by MegaMan 2.

I'm a novice developer since a few month, and I want to have feedback on my work !

What's new in this garbage version ? :

New visual when gets hit !
Transition fade in/fade out !
Pause menu !
New ennemies :
- Cute bird that throws babies at you.
- 4 directionnals turrets.
- Giant scourge who need to get knockedback to his death.
Some changes on knockback.
New collectible : Lives, to have fun more longer ! Yeaaay.
JohnMic want to have some blood. (He's all glitchy don't worry)

I needed to test new ennemies, and performance, so... basically, have fun in this level :).

New version presented to the Bug Days 2023 !

Some bugs fixed in v0.0.4 :

Ladders don't lock the player when the player shoot and grab a ledge on the tip.
Fullscreen at the game start.
Speed are not higher when dying from an ennemie.
Fixed a bug what prevent the player from shooting.
Some changes on background.

What's up in this update ? :

Possibility to play in fullscreen with Alt + Enter
Visual feedback for intangibility after you've been hurt AND for the ennemies too.
Damages has been buffed on the boss (John Mic), but he has intangibility, like the player, for 60 frames.
Jumpys (The springs ennemies) have got their projectiles slower, jumps less high, and have their hurtbox adjusted in air to cover the head, to make easier too kill them.
Skeletons have a quicker animation of the eyes, but the animation of throwing their bones are slower too extend the vulnerability window.
Player projectiles have now an animation then hit an ennemie.
The executable is now Violet Reboot vX-X-X to match the name of the game.
New sprites for healing items.
Animation for healing.
Animation when you collect the Boss Disk after defeat him.
